Yudhi Rana is a hardline Hindu nationalist known for repeatedly targeting the Muslim community through hate speech and provocative acts.
On May 18, during the Prithviraj Chauhan Jayanti celebration in Pavsara, Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, he delivered a speech laced with abuse and venom, making deeply derogatory comments about Muslim men and women. He mocked their dignity and loyalty in an openly communal tirade designed to humiliate and incite. He also said a Muslim can never be our friend.
Rana has also been central to a series of vandalism incidents aimed at erasing Mughal history from public spaces. On March 19, along with fellow nationalist Vijay Hindu, he defaced the street signs of Akbar Road in New Delhi by plastering them with posters of Maharana Pratap.
This was not a one-off stunt, it marked the third time they had targeted the same signs, with previous acts of vandalism carried out on February 22 and March 7. Earlier, on February 26 in Pilkhuwa, Hapur, Rana led a group that pasted images of Mughal emperors on public toilets and claimed to have renamed the facilities after them, an act clearly meant to degrade a community’s historical figures and heritage.
