Rekha Gupta

Affiliation: Bharatiya Janata Party
Vocation/Title: Dellhi Chief Minister
Categories: Hate Mongers
Location: Delhi

Rekha Gupta, BJP Chief Minister of Delhi, has long carried the persona of an online troll into public office. As her oath-taking ceremony made headlines, several of her old tweets and videos resurfaced, exposing a pattern of abuse, bigotry, and hate speech.

In multiple now-deleted posts, she used derogatory language for Muslims and questioned their patriotism. In one such tweet, she mocked Rahul Gandhi with the line, “Jiske dad kabr mein hai, woh Hindu kaise?”- a crude attempt to delegitimize his faith by referencing his father’s death. She has also been caught on video verbally abusing university students, further displaying her hostility toward dissent and young voices.

In other viral tweets, Gupta allegedly attacked former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal using foul language, dragging religion into political criticism. The Congress party responded sharply, calling her elevation unsurprising and stating, “A troll has become the CM of Delhi from the BJP.”

Rekha Gupta’s past is marked by divisive and communal commentary that treats Muslims with suspicion and hostility. Her public record does not just hint at intolerance, it demonstrates a clear comfort with weaponizing hate for political mileage.
