Raja Agarwal is a Public Relations (PR) head of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (youth wing) in Mahasamund district, Chhattisgarh. He is a cow vigilante and has committed violence against minorities.

In June 2024, he was arrested along with 3 other men, all associated with Hindutva groups, in connection with the alleged mob lynching of three Muslim men from Uttar Pradesh. The victims were brutally attacked while transporting cattle and were found lying below a 40-foot bridge, with two dying on the spot and the third succumbing to his injuries 10 days later.

They were only arrested 2 weeks after the incident following pressure from the victims’ families and locals. However, the perpetrators were not charged for murder and the police report initially claimed that the victims died because they jumped off the bridge out of fear of being chased for over 33 miles.

Agarwal’s social media follows his efforts to organise campaigns and blood donation drives on behalf of the BJP’s youth wing as well as cow vigilantism as a “Gau Rakshak” (cow protector).
