Manish Jaiswal

Affiliation: Bharatiya Janata Party
Vocation/Title: BJP MP, Hazaribagh
Categories: Hate Mongers
Location: Hazaribagh, Jharkhand

Manish Jaiswal, BJP MP from Jharkhand, has repeatedly engaged in aggressive Hindutva mobilization and anti-Muslim dog-whistling across his constituency. Between March 30 and April 5, 2024, Jaiswal openly distributed swords and lathis to Hindu youths at multiple camps across Hazaribagh to wield during Ram Navami celebrations, openly encouraging a culture of religious intimidation and militant street power.

On September 23, 2024, while addressing an election rally in Barhi, Jaiswal sharpened his communal pitch. He warned voters against Bangladeshis, claiming they would “snatch everything from you,” “steal your jobs,” and “marry your daughters and sisters.”

He invoked Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh to stoke fears, asking whether stone pelting had stopped, and implying that only a hardline approach against Muslims could secure law and order.

His targeting of Muslims continued into 2025. On April 14, reacting to Jharkhand Minister Hassan Ansari’s reported “Shariat first, then Constitution” remark, Jaiswal launched a furious attack, accusing Ansari of disrespecting the Constitution and warning that electing such leaders would unleash anarchy across the country.
