Gaurav Raghav is a firebrand Hindutva leader associated with the Antararashtriya Hindu Parishad (AHP) and the Rashtriya Bajrang Dal, known for his aggressive speeches laced with anti-Muslim hate.

On March 22, at a district meeting in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, Raghav invoked the conspiracy theory of “love jihad,” and stoked fears around Hindu women, cows, and temples being under threat. He didn’t stop at fearmongering—he openly incited violence, declaring that if any “jihadi” were to touch a temple, “200 crore hands must rise to grab his skullcap and beard.” His speech was a blatant call to vigilante violence, cloaked as a defense of the nation.

Less than a month later, on April 26 in Ghaziabad, Raghav once again delivered a communally charged speech during an AHP-Rashtriya Bajrang Dal meeting. This time, he targeted Kashmiri Muslims, accusing them of being complicit in the killing of tourists in Pahalgam.

He urged a total boycott of Kashmir and its products and went as far as branding Muslims “descendants of cowards.” He alleged that Islam as a religion is working to break India, weaponising deeply communal language to paint an entire community as enemies of the nation.
