Dr. Rajiv Mahajan is a Hindutva leader and the head of the Bhairav Sena, known for stoking communal hatred and fear through anti-Muslim speeches.
On April 23, 2025, at an organisational meeting in Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand, Mahajan pushed the common Hindutva conspiracy of Muslim demographic invasion. He claimed that crores of Bangladeshi Muslims have illegally entered India, while Hindu immigrants are forced to live as refugees. He drew a sharp communal line between religious groups, stating that only non-Hindus are treated as “ghuspaithiya” or infiltrators.
Mahajan alleged that Rohingyas have crossed through seven Indian states and are now settled in large numbers in Kashmir, painting them as a threat to the nation. At the same event, another Bhairav Sena leader, Karan Sharma, openly vowed to drive out so-called “jihadis” from Uttarakhand and warned against religious conversions, further escalating the anti-Muslim sentiment pushed by Mahajan and his organisation.
