Udita Tyagi is the leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mahila Morcha (Women’s Wing) and General Secretary of the Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati Foundation. She is known for supporting genocidal propaganda against Muslims in public and on social media.
In December 2021, Tyagi attended a three-day “Dharma Sansad” (Hindu Religious Parliament), organized by hardline Hindutva leader and priest Yati Narsinghanand. During the event, there were several hate speeches made, calls for genocidal violence against Muslims and anti-Muslim propaganda, such as calls for a Final Solution with several references made to the Rohingya genocide. As his aide and a member of the BJP, Tyagi’s presence gave the event a level of political encouragement from the government.
In May 2025, Tyagi registered a complaint with the Ghaziabad Police in Uttar Pradesh against Mohammed Zubair, co-founder of the fact-checking outlet Alt News, regarding his social media posts about Yati Narsinghanand’s derogatory hate speeches against Muslims and provocative remarks on Prophet Muhammad. She alleged that Zubair was promoting enmity among religious groups through his X posts, with the intent to incite violence by Muslims against the priest. Tyagi further claimed that these posts triggered violent protests at the Dasna Devi Mandir in Ghaziabad, alleging that the violence was a well-planned conspiracy.
Tyagi regularly posts anti-Muslim propaganda and hate-filled content on her social media. In one of her posts she requests Prime Minister Narendra Modi to send the Indian army to Bangladesh and divide the sovereign country into two parts in order to establish a Hindu nation.
