Dr. Pratik Tripathi, a regular presence at Hindutva events, used his platform at the Sanstha Jan Chetna gathering on Veer Savarkar Jayanti in Vikas Nagar, Dewas, Madhya Pradesh on May 28 to push dangerous anti-Muslim conspiracies. Speaking to a crowd that had gathered in the name of “national awareness,” Tripathi falsely linked Muslims to terrorism and propagated terms like “love jihad” and “land jihad” as existential threats to India.
He claimed that anyone who considers Mecca and Medina their spiritual centers can never truly be a Hindu or loyal to India, because their devotion lies outside the country. Quoting Savarkar, Tripathi declared that only Muslims who are fully devoted to India could be considered Hindus.
He described “love jihad” as a calculated route to religious conversion, which he claimed would eventually lead to the destruction of the nation itself.
