Munish Bhardwaj, a Hindutva leader associated with the Rashtriya Bajrang Dal and Antararaashtriya Hindu Parishad (AHP), is a recurring face at communal gatherings in Haryana, known for his aggressive speeches against Muslims and calls for violence. Over the past year, Bhardwaj has consistently used public platforms in Palwal to stoke anti-Muslim hatred, dehumanize an entire community, and push the idea of India as an exclusively Hindu nation.

On March 23, 2025, at a gathering in Pelak village, Bhardwaj targeted Muslims who had allegedly asked for a postponement of Holi celebrations due to Friday prayers. He declared that India belongs to Hindus and told Muslims to “go to Pakistan,” claiming they had already taken more land than the sacrifices they made for India’s freedom—naming Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan as stolen Hindu territory.

A month later, on April 24, at a protest in Palwal jointly organised by AHP and the Rashtriya Bajrang Dal, he escalated his hate speech further. Bhardwaj openly declared that “all Muslims are terrorists,” claimed the Quran preaches terrorism, and accused madrasas of training jihadis. He used slurs like “kathmulla,” called for revenge killings, and demanded that Prime Minister Modi launch missiles at Pakistan. His speeches routinely include open calls for violence and the expulsion of Muslims. At the same April event, alongside Bhardwaj, other speakers demanded Hindus arm themselves, shouted “Desh ke gaddaron ko goli maaro,” and claimed Muslims can never live peacefully with Hindus. These events were not isolated.

On January 22, 2024, Bhardwaj delivered another incendiary speech in Palwal, mocking Muslim MP Asaduddin Owaisi with communal slurs and demanding that Ayodhya-style demolitions be repeated in Mathura and Kashi.

Months earlier, on October 13, 2024, he led a Hindu Suraksha Yatra in Palwal, where he warned that Hindus were under attack and promoted the idea that Muslim men seduce Hindu women to murder them. He urged Hindus to pick up weapons, claiming they were on the verge of becoming a minority and could no longer live safely in Muslim-majority areas.
