Ravindra Dwivedi

Affiliation: Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha
Vocation/Title: Hindu Mahasabha Leader
Categories: Hate Mongers
Location: Delhi

Ravindra Dwivedi, a leader of the Hindu Mahasabha, openly incited violence against Muslims during a public gathering in Shastri Park, New Delhi, on October 28, 2023. Standing before a crowd of supporters, he called for the demolition of mosques across the country, claiming they were built over destroyed Hindu temples by the Mughals.

He described these religious structures as symbols of Muslim dominance and Hindu humiliation, and urged Hindus to rise and reclaim what he called their rightful land. Dwivedi painted Muslims as enemies of the nation, traitors who should not be allowed to live peacefully in India.

He further claimed that Muslims—whom he repeatedly referred to as “jihadis”—were the root cause of crime in India. “Go to any jail,” he said, “and you’ll see that 90% of the inmates are jihadis.” Dwivedi alleged that Muslim-run schools were breeding grounds for extremism, where children were being trained to wage jihad. He called for the immediate closure of these institutions, accusing them of teaching hatred and violence. According to him, these so-called jihadis were behind stone-pelting during Hindu religious processions and were using tactics like “love jihad” to trap Hindu women, convert them, and weaken the Hindu community from within.

His speech was laced with violent intent and sought to mobilize Hindus into direct confrontation, demanding that they unite to wipe out mosques from the landscape of the country.
