Nitin Nandkar, the Hyderabad Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) President and leader of Veer Shivaji Sena-Telangana State, is a hardline Hindutva figure known for his repeated hate speeches and open calls for violence against Muslims.

He has built his influence by stoking communal tensions, glorifying vigilantism, and threatening minorities under the guise of protecting Sanatan Dharma.

On April 8, 2023, in Hyderabad, Telangana, Nandkar delivered a hate-filled speech targeting Muslims, particularly those involved in the sale, transport, and consumption of beef. “Give us one hour, and we’ll make sure you sing Jai Shri Ram,” he threatened, invoking Akbaruddin Owaisi’s 2013 speech and challenging Muslims to a fight. He spewed derogatory remarks about Muslim livelihoods, claiming they “give birth to ten kids” who end up working in menial jobs, while Hindus produce children to become policemen, doctors, and warriors for their faith. He warned that anyone involved in cow slaughter would be violently dealt with.

On October 7, 2024, he incited further communal hatred by calling for the exclusion of Muslims from Hindu spaces. “We need to show them their place. No non-Hindu will enter our places, no non-Hindu will play dandiya with us. They harass our daughters on the streets and kill them,” he declared, pushing the conspiracy theory that Muslim men target Hindu women through ‘love jihad.’

At a Shiv Jayanti event in Jam Bagh, Hyderabad, on February 19, 2025, Nandkar once again delivered a speech soaked in violent threats. “I am ready to die and kill for Sanatan. I won’t spare anyone!” he roared, calling for an all-out fight against those he deems enemies of Hinduism. He claimed Muslims were attempting to destroy Hindu daughters through ‘love jihad’ and vowed retaliation against those involved in cow slaughter. He proudly boasted about organizing the event without police permission, showing his blatant disregard for the law.

Nandkar openly threatens minorities and urges Hindus to take up arms in the name of Sanatan Dharma.
